A longtime lover of horse racing, Keith got into the industry in 1985, his first job coming in the publicity office at the newly re-opened Garden State Park. Despite never having called a horse race, within six months he had worked his way in the assistant announcer’s position and a short time later was promoted to full time. He came to what was then Philadelphia Park in 1987, and has been the race caller here ever since. As the track’s announcer and host of PTHA’s Let’s Go Racing, he is both the face and voice of the track. In 2011, he was part of the inaugural class inducted into the Parx Racing Hall of Fame. Now the third longest tenured announcer in the country, he estimates that’s he’s called nearly 60,000 races in his 32 year career.
