PARX Race Track Information
PARX Racing, previously known as Philadelphia Park and Keystone Racetrack, is a premier racing venue with live racing year-round.
The post and gate times vary; see the live racing calendar for more details. On special event days such as the PA Derby, KY Derby, Preakness, Belmont, and Breeders Cup, gates open at 10:00 AM.
Entry into the track is FREE!
The Track
- Main track is a 1-mile oval with 7 furlongs and 1 & 1/4 mile chutes.
- The surface consists of sand, clay, and loam.
- The track is 80 feet wide.
- Stretch length is 974 feet from the last turn to the finish.
- Turf course is 7 furlongs with a 1 1/8 mile chute.
Track Amenities
PARX Racing offers various amenities for its visitors, making it an ideal location for racing enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Picnic Grove Amenities:
- Three shaded pavilions
- Wagering pavilion
- Gazebo bar
- Outdoor restrooms
- Over 100 tables with umbrellas
- Children’s playground
- Charcoal grills with self-starting briquettes are welcome (no propane or lighter fluids)
*Note that outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted, and coolers are checked upon entry.
PARX Racing is also a fantastic choice for hosting private parties, birthdays, corporate events, and Picnic Grove gatherings. You can choose from outdoor or indoor spaces such as pavilions, picnic tables with umbrellas, tent rentals, or even reserve the Pennsylvania Derby Room for your event.
